The blade is sharpened for a sharp edge, with a blade length of 28.0 inches and a width of 1.26 inches near the habaki. The handle is made of solid wood with a winding rope for a comfortable grip, and the tsuba is made of zinc alloy with a painted design. The knife fitted on the handle is also made of alloy for added durability.
The scabbard is made of solid wood with a black lacquer finish for a sleek and protective cover. The sword also comes with a cotton sword bag for safe storage and transport.
