Sword Maintenance:
To protect and maintain the longevity of your Katana Sword, it is critical to understand its components and their maintenance requirements. A sword generally consists of three components: blade, sheath, and accessories. The blade is primarily made of iron, steel, and copper. To avoid rusting, store it in a dry place and avoid contact with sour or salty substances. Avoid touching the blade with bare hands to prevent sweat from corroding the surface. For medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, pattern-welded steel (Damascus steel), and stainless steel blades, apply oil to the surface for maintenance.
The sheath is typically made of wood and should be kept dry to prevent dampness and rusting. With these maintenance tips, you can ensure that your sword remains in excellent condition and lasts for years to come.
