The Demon Slayer Cosplay Anime Sword is a beautiful and authentic addition to any collection. This handmade katana features a blade made of clay tempered T10 high carbon steel, with a high-temperature roasted color and a sharp edge. It weighs 1.4 kilograms and has an overall length of 40.9 inches, including a blade length of 28.0 inches.
The blade shape is Shinogi-Zukuri and the kissaki shape is chu-kissaki, with a blade width near the habaki of 1.26 inches and near the kissaki of 0.91 inches. The handle is made of solid wood with a winding rope for a comfortable grip, while the tsuba is made of alloy for added durability. The saya, or sheath, is made of wooden core leather for a beautiful and protective cover.
As with any sword, it's important to properly maintain it to keep it in top condition. To prevent rusting, avoid storing the sword in a damp place or in contact with sour or salty substances. Sweat can also corrode the surface, so it's best to avoid touching the blade with bare hands. Applying oil to the surface is helpful for maintenance, especially for medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, pattern-welded steel (Damascus steel), and stainless steel blades.
