Please note that due to the handmade nature of these swords, length may have small errors. However, you can contact us for customized blade lettering or other changes. As manufacturers, many of our commodities are now assembled, so each shipment might be slightly different. We appreciate your understanding and support. All samurai swords were designed in Japan and produced in Longquan, the sword capital of China.
In order to properly maintain your sword, it's important to understand that it consists of three components: the blade, sheath, and accessories. The blade is usually made of iron, steel, or copper, while the sheath is typically made of wood. To prevent rusting, avoid storing your sword in damp places or near sour or salty substances. Contact with your hand should also be minimized to prevent corroding the surface with sweat. We recommend applying oil on the surface for maintenance, especially for medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, pattern-welded steel (Damascus steel), and stainless steel blades. Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and performance of your sword.
