The Sumagano Samurai Sword from the Baked Black series is a beautifully crafted weapon that combines form and function. The blade is made of high manganese steel, which provides durability and a sharp edge. This sword is a handmade and hand-forged masterpiece that weighs 1.2kg and measures 103cm in overall length, with a blade length of 72cm.

The scabbard is made of solid wood, painted to perfection, and the handle is wrapped with a winding rope, providing a comfortable grip and better handling. The tsuba, made of alloy, adds to the overall elegance of the sword.

This sword comes with a cotton sword bag, making it easy to store, transport, and protect your sword. As manufacturers, we understand that many commodities are now assembled, and each shipment might be slightly different. However, all of our swords are produced in Longquan, China, using modern production methods.

To ensure the longevity of your sword, proper maintenance is essential. A sword generally consists of three components: blade, sheath, and accessories, which are mainly made of iron, steel, copper, and wood. To prevent rusting, you must avoid storing the sword in damp places or coming into contact with sour or salty substances. You must also avoid touching the blade with your bare hands to prevent surface corrosion caused by sweat. Another critical factor is to apply oil on the surface for maintenance, especially for medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, pattern-welded steel (Damascus steel), and stainless steel blades.

We hope you enjoy using your Sumagano Samurai Sword and appreciate its beauty and functionality. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
